Every student deserves the opportunity to have an excellent education.  Unfortunately, many students in Guilford County are being short-changed.  Too often, we let the same people keep trying the same things to improve education and too often we seem surprised that we keep seeing the same results.  It's time for a different perspective.  It's time to ask different questions.  It's time to demand different results.

With my varied experiences I have gotten to see education in Guilford County from a lot of different angles.  I've seen things that Guilford County Schools does very well, and I've seen things that they do not do well at all.  I believe that by applying conservative values such as equity, fiscal responsibility, and transparency, I can help set GCS on a path to serve all children better.

There is nothing more important than securing a promising future for our children, and a quality education is the only way to do that.  As a Guilford County School Board member I can be a voice for all students.  I can be a voice reminding the Board to put educating students first.  I can be a voice that speaks up for parents' rights.  I can be your voice.  I hope you will support me.​​
